His Journey With the Spirit Realm
Blake shares his lifelong experience of seeing angels, demons, and other spiritual realities from a young age. He initially thought this was normal, but as a child he experienced fear and torment until he found a church that helped him understand his “gift of seeing in the spirit” and allowed him to embrace his prophetic abilities.
Understanding the Spirit Realm
Blake explains that seeing in the spirit is about perceiving God’s perspective and purposes, as revealed through prophetic imagery in the Bible. He sees the spirit realm as an expression of God’s kingdom, and believes this gift is meant to be available to all Christians.
Protecting Against Spiritual Attacks
Blake cautions against viewing the enemy as a highly strategic opponent. Instead, he sees spiritual warfare as more opportunistic, like a lion looking for a weak or isolated target. He emphasizes the importance of community, health, and staying connected to God’s love and purposes as the best defense.
Developing the Gift of Seeing
Blake shares that prayer and practice within a supportive community are key to growing in the ability to see and hear from God. He notes that maturity involves discernment about what to share and what to keep private, in order to protect people.
Encountering the Glory of God
Blake talks about a powerful experience during a 24-hour worship service, where he had a vision of the ceiling peeling away to reveal a glimpse of the heavenly realm. He was left with a sense of God’s nearness and desire to connect with even small acts of worship.
