My week actually starts on Sunday, where I sit down with my planner and look at what my week. What appointments do I have? What has to get done?
Then I think about my quarterly goals, and break it down to what can I do this week to move closer to those goals. I try to make them push me, but they’re doable so I don’t feel defeated. Also, I try not to include a million things in the list so it doesn’t overwhelm me.
Goals for the week:
- New blog post (always)
- Prep for my Repurposing Content Workshop.
- Update videos in Pin with Purpose now that Board Booster is no longer an option.
- Finish Module 6+7 of the Impact Blogging Academy.
- Workout 5 times
- Get a massage
- Figure out French paperwork for my Carte de Séjour & drivers license
I look at any white space in my planner and decide where I can fit in the activities for these goals. Monday is always content day and that is non-negotiable.
One thing I definitely want to note is that I have a VERY red/ruby goal-driven personality. It’s great for getting ish done—but if I’m not careful I can be a workaholic and burnout.
Tony Robbins says, “Success without fulfillment is the ultimate failure.”
Knowing myself (and the fact that I had a major burnout in my network marketing company a few years back), I ALWAYS set goals for how I want to feel during the week.
Recommended book: The Desire Map by Danielle LaPorte.
I know that I want to feel energetic, abundant, grateful, and joyful, so I make sure that my goals are reflective of that (hence why I have get a massage and workout on the list).
I’ll break down this post as closely as possible to what I actually did during the week, and at the bottom, I’ll include what my team did.
Yes, I have a team helping me out. It wasn’t always that way though. If you want to see how my business has grown over the past few months, you can read this post: https://rachelngom.com/online-course-launch/

What our team did this week:
- customer service
- insta stories
- edit podcast
- fix blog hosting
- pitch for podcasts
- schedule/prep for podcasts
- wrote copy and designed opt-in pages/thank you pages/nurture sequence for the upcoming challenge
- designed and created Facebook ads for the webinar
- upload pins to Pinterest
- share pins from tailwind tribes

SYSTEMS do the rest—which I break down in my repurposing content workshop.
Let’s take a look back at the goals for the week and see where I did well and where I missed.
I was able to get everything done except for working out, but that’s only because my foot pain started coming back (I’m seeing a podiatrist in the states as soon as I get back home). I didn’t completely finish module 7, but I’m reallllly close.
I knew that these goals would stretch me, but I’d rather be stretched than finish it and wonder what else needs to happen lol.
Total hours worked: 25
I hope this gives you a good snapshot of what my schedule looks like as an entrepreneur. Did I get everything done that I wanted to this week? No, but I got pretty darn close and also had some good balance.
Mastering your entrepreneur schedule is so key to:
- getting stuff accomplished
- having a LIFE
Tell me, does your schedule look like mine? Do you work more? Less? Where can you tighten things up or create more joy goals?
