Today on the podcast I'm sharing my top secrets to automate your business! From platforms I use, to what to outsource, I'm sharing everything you need to know to start automating your business.

Zapier

Zapier is an automation tool that allows you to connect two apps to create a task

Examples of Zaps we use:

  1. Save zoom interview, and automatically it uploads to gmail
  1. Typeform application to Trello Board
  1. New client added in Activate, and there is a campaign to create a task in asana.

Google Drive

Google Drive, we use to create systems and automations.

We organize it by folders and use it to share files and documents between our team.

This keeps my brain organized, and allows us to keep files, docs, photos all in one place.

Create SOP’s

Standerd Operating Procedures

Have your team, or you can create these SOP’s of the tasks in your biz. Even if you’re doing them right now, and write out all the steps for each task, so when you hire someone you can hand it off to them!

Then if someone quits, takes time off, or you need to hire other people those tasks are all written out so you can delegate and the new person has a step by step of the tasks they’re expected to do.

This will cut down on back and forth for future employees, and training time!

Calendly

Calendly is a calender scheduling app that allows you to set dates and time of availability, and allows people to book calls with you.

There’s no back and forth, just scheduling, and it gets sent to your email!

Google Calendar

You can set dates and times, and even color code your calendar so you can know what your months look like.

You can create repeating tasks, one time tasks, and set date and time. This keeps me organized and on task.

Email Nurture Sequence

Create an email nurture sequence.

Anytime someone signs up for your email list, you create automated emails to go out, days, weeks, etc after they sign up!

This is a whole welcome sequence you then don’t have to worry about. You can send automated offers in these, and it is 100% automated so you don’t have to keep scheduling out your emails to your list.

Lead Generation Platforms

Focus on platforms that help you automate!

Podcasting, Pinteres, Youtube, Google SEO

These are search engine based platforms that will last over time!

Instagram and Facebook posts don’t last. They’re sexy, in theory to get followers, but those posts are gone after 24 hours essentially.

These lead generation platfoms allow people to find you years after you posted something and discover you because of the search engine!

Email List

You’ve gotta have an email list.

This is a list of people who want to know more.

This is the fastest way to grow your business. Grow that list.

You can send offers, and reach thousands just by sending out one email.
