Episode 084:
Today we’re talking to Tiffany Lee Bymaster, aka “CoachGlitter”, a multi-passionate creative entrepreneur who has translated her vast experience working behind the scenes on some of the most amazing production sets to teach online entrepreneurs how to UpLevel their personal and lifestyle brands through the power of video especially Live Video! Tiffany has a gift of breaking down the process and simplifying into actionable steps to help others identify their brand blueprint, uncover their gifts and most importantly, build their confidence on camera so that they can become a power house to grow their business!
Takeaways:
-When people start trusting what you say, you will be able to create a brand around YOURSELF. If you focus on one thing, and push that, your business can BOOM!
-Focus on one course, one thing, one offer is key. Tiffany says this is so important. Focus on one thing all the while building your personal brand and having a strong presence.
-Tiffany talks about the importance of live video. She says it’s so easy to step into, and the goal is to connect with the audience.
-Instagram and Facebook are the two platforms Tiffany uses. She stresses that it doesn’t matter what stage you are in. Live videos matter. Don’t look only at your numbers, you should be going live wherever you have people who will watch! It’s not a popularity contest, it’s just important to advertise yourself through those livestreams.
-Everyone is terrible on video in the beginning. Tiffany shares it’s like any skill- you suck at first. THAT’S OKAY! Allow yourself to get a little better every time. It’s about practice. The more you do it, the better you’ll be.
-Have a plan for your live. Tiffany talks about how you shouldn’t have a script, but make sure you have structure in your live. Introduce yourself, know the topic of your live, and have some bullet points for what you want to talk about!
-Stick it out. Don’t quit after 3 lives. You have to keep pushing through that!! If you are really focused on the end game, and you stick it out, things will get better as YOU get better.
-Tiffany shares some tools she uses for livestreaming. HOWEVER, it’s important to note that her advice in the beginning is to just use your phone or computer- start with what you have. Don’t get too fancy at the beginning. Rather, keep it simple for yourself until you are seasoned.
-Make sure you’re being YOU in your lives. You have to be prepared, but you also have to be YOURSELF. No radio voice, no carbon copies of someone else, be your unique, quirky self. Don’t fight it, show up how you are.
