Proven Launch Steps for a Successful Online Summit
Stefanie focuses on helping Christian women through grief support. In this coaching session, her and Rachel outline a game plan for an online summit that Stefanie will launch to grow her email list and support her audience. It’s a great conversation around the key components of a successful summit!
Some of the questions and answers discussed include:
How do I make sure my summit is warm and welcoming, even though it’s virtual?
You get to make it your own. It’s all about setting the intention for creating an event in which your audience has an impactful and amazing experience! Consider how you want them to feel and what transformation you want them to have, and then brainstorm ways in which you can bring that into the format, content, and structure of the summit.
Can I host a summit even if I have a small audience?
Absolutely! In fact, summits are designed as a way to build your email list. Collaborate with speakers who resonate with your messaging and audience, and you’ll get your business in front of a wider audience.
How long do I need to prepare for a summit?
It’s recommended that, for your first summit, you give yourself 60-90 days. However, you can execute much more quickly in subsequent ones and repurpose your processes. It’s all about taking messy action, learning, and doing it over and over again!
How many speakers should I have in my summit?
Aim to have at least 10 speakers that you collaborate with. You can definitely make it bigger though and some summits have up to 30!
How should I structure the summit offer and upgrade?
There are SO many ways to structure a summit! If you register for others’ events, you’ll see the variety of ways in which they’re organized. You can do pre-recorded sessions, live calls, or a combination of the two. It’s recommended that you include a VIP upgrade with bonuses and lifetime access to the recordings. Outline your intentions and work backwards from there to outline the journey you’ll take the audience on.
