I’m really excited to talk about this because I LOVE passive income.
I am a huge believer that you need to have passive income streams in your life just so you can have a better quality of life and you’re not trading time for money.
So let’s talk about the first thing, take what you’re already doing with private clients and package it into an online course.
Creating Passive Income with Online Courses
I love online courses. This is one of my favorite ways to earn passive income. And a lot of times I hear well, there’s already an online course about my topic, or, you know, and here’s what I want to say to that…
It’s not being taught by you. You have something special that you can offer people. And so you need to show up for your audience and create that for them.
And a lot of times we think, well, what I teach isn’t that special?
You have a zone of genius that you could monetize.
I want to share with you some of the online courses that our Activate students have created.
These are some of the different topics that we’ve created courses around:
- Taxes And Accounting
- Law Of Attraction
- Leadership
- Podcasting
- Breastfeeding
- Writing A Book
- Creating An Online Summit
- Creating An Online Quiz
- Using WordPress
- Branding
- How To Use A Vision Board
- Lots Of Different Fitness Niches
- Small Business Social Media Marketing
- How to Use CBD
- Eating Gluten-Free
- Veganism
- Healing Your Inner Child
- Posture
- Copywriting
- Productivity
There’s so many options, but these are just a few some of our Activate students and the courses that they’re creating.
By the way, if you want to apply for a spot in Activate and learn how the heck you actually do this, just go to Rachelngom.com/activate.
Creating Passive Income with Webinars
Once you launch the course, get students in, make some money and create it with them. Then, what I would do is do live webinars to sell this program.
This is what I did with Pin with Purpose. I was doing the live webinar every two weeks until I was happy with our numbers. And then I made it evergreen.
And so create the course and then have the goal of making it evergreen.
When it’s evergreen basically you have some form of way to sell it every day. And so you have an automated webinar where people can register for that webinar or any time and they can watch it buy your course and BOOM, you’re able to make an impact passively without trading time for money.
This is magical, like seriously, seriously magical.
Creating Passive Income as an Affiliate
Next thing that you can do once your online course is evergreen, is become an affiliate.
Think about things that you’re using that compliment, whatever it is that you’re offering, your ideal clients.
And so for us being in the business space, I recommend some of the things that I’m already using and love like Kajabi, Lead Pages, Click Funnels, Tailwind .
Or other entrepreneurs programs that I’ve gone through that I really enjoy like Amy Porterfield’s Digital Course Academy is a really good example.
So I want you to think, what are some things related to your offer that you’re already using, that you would already recommend that it’s kind of like a no brainer that you would recommend that, that product or service.
Make a list of what you’re already using and go to their website. If they don’t have an affiliate program, email them and ask.
So example if you listened to the podcast, I had Our Rich Journey on the She’s Making an Impact podcast and I adore them. They’re one of my favorite YouTubers.
I adore them and I went through their course and I’m like, I love your course. This would add so much value to my audience. Do you have an affiliate program?
And because I asked them, I think it got their wheels turning. Then they emailed back and they’re like, we just created an affiliate program. Here you go.
Side note: if you want to learn more about finance, go through their course about retiring early.
By going through that course, we have a plan to retire by age 41, 42 easily. Which is crazy!!
So figure out what your zone of genius is.
What comes so easily to you that you could package and put it inside a course?
And if you don’t know, ask the people that you’re closest to, what do you see me being a superstar in?
Because a lot of times you’re too close to it and you don’t even realize that that is like your secret sauce or super part of the thing that you do really well.
Create the online course around that and then live launch it.
Do webinars until you’re happy with the results.
Make it evergreen.
And then think about becoming an affiliate for different courses, different offers.
Woohoo! 3 different ways for you to start creating passive income. Which one are you most excited about?
